WORD A WEEK PHOTO CHALLENGE: WEATHER
AFTER THE WINTER STORM
We are experiencing winter in Pittsburgh right now, but nothing like we experienced back in February of 2010. Â At that time we received twenty-two inches of snow in less than 24 hours.
The below photos were taken during that time and were seen in previous post. Â I thought you may like to see them again so they are being submitted for my first entry into A Word In Your Ear’s, Word A Week Photo Challenge. Â View the site here.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

This was taken back in 2010. We haven’t had near that much this winter. But I love to look at snow photos. Thank you for stopping by.

Those power lines look way too heavy with snow.
Alice - January 22, 2013 at 1:29 pm |
They were. We kept watching them, but we never lost any power during this storm. In fact it was a beautiful and enjoyable time for us. The children had a wonderful time sledding down our hill.

how extraordinary! i wonder how life can function with all that snow!!
dadirri7 - January 22, 2013 at 6:13 pm |
We are use to a lot of snow but not this much in such a short period of time. In this case The Governor issued a state of emergency and brought in the National Guard to help remove all that snow from the roads and help with down power lines.

Lovely shots of the snow!! I love how you captured the layers of snow piled on to the branches and trees!!
janalinesmalman - January 23, 2013 at 9:51 am |
I remember that one, Francine. Even southern Virginia got clobbered and snow stayed on the ground for almost the rest of the winter. NOT the usual in Virginia!

This is the type of snow I love, as long as you don’t have to leave the house, shovel, or scrape the car. Of course, Miles might find it difficult to go outside.

So much snow, Francine. It’s hard to imagine, sitting here in Florida. Gorgeous pics though.
