WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: WINTER

You can call it the blizzard of 2010 or snowmageddon, but there was a winter storm the likes of which have rarely been seen in Pittsburgh.  It blanketed the city with 20.1 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday morning February 5-6, 2010.  It brought the city to a virtual standstill as a state of emergency was declared throughout Pennsylvania.  The storm was ranked fourth on the list of all-time snow events in Pittsburgh.  The photos are views of my street and backyard on the afternoon following the end of the fallen snow.  It was beautiful!
