WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: UNUSUAL

The Daily Post at WordPress has given us a new weekly challenge: unusual.  I spend all day yesterday looking for unusual subjects to photograph.  It was a beautiful day the sun was shinning brightly, people were out (in shorts) everywhere just like any summer day in the 70’s , but wait, it’s March and it is unusual for us to have such warm temperatures this time of year, in this part of the country.

  3. those are very good examples.. I know I am going to have a problem with this challenge..

  4. Nice examples!

A thought on the current rarety of phone booths: For decades throughout Canada, the use of a phone booth cost .25 cents, partly to make it easy for people to call special services (e.g. Kids Help Phone, etc.) and others for help. Due to the increasing prevalence of personal cellphones, the Province of Ontario increased the cost of using a cellphone to $2.00 in recent years. Truly a sign of the times!

  5. Thumbs up my friend 🙂

  6. Love the fun of Summer. It is Summer in the Philippines whereas it was spring when I left the U.S. Either way, I love both these season. I enjoyed reading your post and admiring the wonderful images. I agree, I don’t see much of these phones now that cellphone seems to be everywhere. Take care…
