RIVERS OF PITTSBURGH
This weeks A-Z ARCHIVE CHALLENGE : R, is sponsored by Frizztext. Check out other related articles on his site highlighted above.
I have chosen photos of the Three Rivers of Pittsburgh taken from my archives to use for this weeks challenge.
The Three Rivers of Pittsburgh are well-known for the commerce, recreational and sporting environment they provide for the local and visiting people who come to this area. The confluence of the Allegheny River from the northeast and Monongahela River from the southeast flow into the Ohio River. The Downtown area between the rivers is known as the Golden Triangle, and the site at the actual convergence, which is occupied by Point State Park, is referred to simply as “the Point.”
THE THREE “RIVERS” OF PITTSBURGH
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

Brings back memories. I used to park at Heinz Field and walk 10 min. to work.

Beautiful! It’s been years since I’ve been to Pittsburgh, and these pictures of the rivers, bridges, and buildings make the city so look good! Nice work.

This reminders me of a wedding I went to in Pittsburgh.
The journey started with a flight from London, England to Brooklyn where I stayed for a couple of days. Then a real long drive to Pittsburgh!!
It was fun, so thanks for reigniting this memory.
