CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE: CONTRASTING COLORS

This weeks challenge on Cee’s Fun Foto is contrasting colors.  Her instructions are as follows.  Color is such a confusing topic.  If you look up contrasting or complimentary colors you will get various color combinations.  What I mean when I refer to contrasting colors is colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel.  The basic contrasting colors I am referring to are as follows:

— Yellow and Violet (Purple)

–Blue and Orange

–Red and Green

If you take one of the contrasting colors (red, blue, or yellow) is the roughly the color made by mixing the other two colors together.

  • red contrasts green (blue + yellow)
  • blue contrasts orange (red + yellow)
  • yellow contrasts violet (red + blue)

We find contrasting colors in nature and in fashion.  To see more contrasting colors, visit Cee’s blog on the link above.

BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
