Francine In Retirement
Seeing Life Through Photography

I have seen tattoo’s on different parts of a persons body, but never have I seen one designed all over someones head.

It was such a unique encounter that I asked permission to photograph this man’s head as seen through the lens of my camera.

Do you find it unique as well?

  2. great job for this challenge! yes, that style is quite unique!

how sensitive of you to ask first! thanks for setting an example! z

  3. Very unique,, but not to my liking,Tattoos not for me, however very good pictures..;)

  4. I agree with cobbies69. It is unique and that’s why you’ve put it on here, but you don’t want to hear my opinion of tattoos. Nice shots though.

  5. I have never seen this either. And he tattoo itself is quite a unique piece of art as well.

  6. Super Francine. Just incredible that someone had that done to himself and I can’t imagine the investment of time and money to achieve that unique effect. Not to mention the discomfort. Oh my. Great series for the challenge!

  7. Wow that’s awesome looking!

  8. Definitely!! Good one Francine

  9. It’s certainly unique, Francine. I hope he never changes is mind. 🙂

  10. Unique indeed! Great photos and interpretation on the theme Francine!
I just can’t stop thinking what a boring life he must have…..
    Have a lovely Sunday! 🙂

  11. That’s quite something. When I think of how much I have changed since I was around that mans age I can’t help but wonder . . .

  12. Hi Francine! You placed this photo in the perfect category, for sure! Unique is definitely one way to describe it, LOL! I’ve missed visiting your site. Health issues have kept me away from blog land! May the Lord bless you, abundantly!

  13. I’m amazed but quite uncomfortable looking at that!

  14. That’s a very interesting head! 🙂

  15. I am of the feeling that folks should be able to do whatever they want as long as it does no harm to anyone else. Would I do that? NO! Do I have any tats at all? NO! I wear my hair long like I have done since the 60s but I stop at permanent decorations.

  16. Francine, truly unique and also bold & beautiful. I wonder what he does for a living. I don’t think he works in a suit & tie place. Great post! I really like it! 🙂

  17. Hey, that’s totally cool. Very artistic. the owl looks straight at you. I wish I can be brave like him. That got to hurt!

  21. Have not ever seen anything like it!

  22. It’s a cool tattoo, but I can only think Ouch! I know how it feels to get one, but on the head–not sure i would be able to stand the pain.

  23. Oh my, that is totally unique 🙂

  24. Nice! I saw one on a guy’s head like that, but he had one of those folds right above the neck. It was a face smiling, but when he bent his head forward, the fold opened up and the lower smiling lip became a tongue sticking out of a mouth. It was so awesome. Doesn’t count though if I didn’t have a camera! I like your unique guy!

  25. I can’t imagine why someone would do such a thing, but each to his own I suppose. Good for you Francine on getting the photos for the unique challenge. 🙂

  26. Tattoos are such an interesting art form, aren’t they? I’m considering it myself as sort of a rite-of-passage into late middle age. Just because and why not?

  27. Given the pain, I don’t get how folks can get so many tattoos. 😉

  28. Awesome capture! the colors are very bright and lively! 🙂 I would think having anything from the neck up tattooed would hurt like the Dickens!!
