BENCH REST

I’ve come across a number of people relaxing on benches.  Here are a few of them.  I don’t think this is a way I would rest on a bench.  🙂  Would you?  To see more benches, click here.

RESTING ON A BENCH

Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us. We need hours of aimless wandering or spates of time sitting on park benches, observing the mysterious world of ants and the canopy of treetops.

  1. excellent shots francine … it must be nice snoozing in the sunshine 🙂

  2. Either my neck hurts as I look at these photos, or I’m feeling very vulnerable. I’d find it very hard to nap on a bench in a public place.

  3. You really have captured some good benches and brilliant pose!

  4. I have never understood how people can relax so much in public to be able to sleep….I could never do this. I can’t even sleep on an airplane. Plus I would feel unsafe I think…but you sure did put a smile on my face. Have a great weekend my friend.

  5. Great collection you show here! Thanks for sharing.

  6. Nice photos!

  7. haha! funny! sometimes a person just needs a little shut-eye!

  8. These would be perfect for ‘Nap’ as well 😀 Wonderful set Francine.

  9. One must be awfully tired to nap on a public bench. I just couldn’t do it. Even so, this is a nice collection of nappers, Francine.

  10. Haha no way! I would probably snore – how embarrassing 🙂

  11. A bench thus gives us a place to rest and even sleep. Great post.

  12. Great theme…..I don’t think I could sleep on a bench….
