Francine In Retirement
Seeing Life Through Photography

This is the second installment of my adventure to The Wilds, one of the largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers in the world. Located on nearly 10,000 acres in Zanesville, Ohio USA.

We road in open-air safari vehicles which transported us to the different areas that were separated by solar panel gates designed to kept predatory animals separated from one another.

One of the interesting scenes that I saw was a cheetah on the operating table, incubated, to be completely examined before transferring to another facility. Β I am told it was a rare sight for visitors to the site to see.

I hope you will enjoy the slideshow of the photos I took on my stateside safari adventure.
