WEATHER HAS TAKEN ITS TOIL

The weather has taken its toil on the intra-structure of the city. Underground water pipes are breaking and we are running low on salt supplies for the roads.

Can’t wait for the cold spell to break. No pun intended.

  1. We had a situation like this last winter … there’s a certain treshold, whereafter winter is not fun any more.

  2. Here on the west coast the problem is fog. Weeks of it. Flights cancelled.

  3. There’s town in this country that is no longer a town, it’s an island. The floodwaters have not abated since before Christmas. They use boats to get up and down the main road

  4. We’d gladly trade some of our sun and warmth for some of that snow and rain!!

  5. That looks like a serious consequence of bad weather, Francine. 😦

  6. Oof, hope you’ll get a break from this winter soon :S

  7. I wait for the cold spell too break as well as I am getting tired of extra cold days and wearing so many layers.

  8. Can’t wait for Spring. Thank for your post.

  9. Thinking of you over there.
